About

In this section I share personal insights about my journey, experiences and what really drives.

My Mission

I want to contribute to a greater future for the next generations in Europe.

There are so many phenomenal ideas out there, startups and established companies with great products that deserve to win.

What drives me most is building and growing companies from the customer perspective. Understanding what the market actually needs, then making it happen.

That's what gets me up in the morning and what I've been doing for 18 years across family business, corporate, and scale-up.  This is my story.

My Values

Hands-On

I don't deliver slide decks and leave. I build what's needed. Systems, teams, processes. And I stay until it works.
Icon Image

Customer first

Every strategy starts with the customer. What do they need? How do they buy? If we can't answer that, nothing else matters.
Icon Image

Direct

I say what I think. No sugar-coating, no politics. If something isn't working, you'll hear it from me before anyone else.

Ownership

I don't stand on the sidelines. I take ownership, I step in, and I share the risk. Your success is my success.

My Experience

1. The Shop Floor

Where everything started
While others were sitting in classrooms, I was in a Porsche workshop. Apprenticeship as an automotive technician and electrician. Not because I had to. Because I was passionate about cars and wanted to understand how things work. My father wanted a different path for me. But the best thing he ever did was let me figure it out myself.  I earned my high school diploma through evening classes while working the day shift. Then a bachelor's in Innovation Management in Graz. Then a master's in Executive Management in Vienna. Every single degree while working full-time. 18 years in, never had a break. I've never known it any other way.

2. The Family Business

First lesson in entrepreneurship: the family business.
Trend & Trade. Sales agency and wholesaler for international brands. I started in sales and built the company's biggest customer account from scratch: the XXXLutz Group. But what changed everything was Amazon. Our manufacturers and retail chains needed an e-commerce solution for last-mile delivery to end customers. So I built it. A fully automated dropshipping model from logistics to EDI integration and order processing, three months from idea to live. Over €1M revenue in year one.

That's where I learned what I still believe today: listen to what customers need, build fast, deliver, then grow. And the most important lesson came from my father. He was my coach, but he let me build my own thing inside his company. In family businesses, that's everything. Learn the core, build your own project, prove yourself. Don't play junior CEO.

3. The Corporate Pathway

I left the family business to gain broader management experience.
After my master's, I knew I needed a broader perspective. I joined Porsche Holding, Europe's largest automotive retail group. Through the management trainee program I worked through the entire value chain: vehicle development, production and market launch at Wolfsburg, wholesale, retail, after-sales to mobility as a service at Europcar.

I understood how every piece connects and where value is created and lost. Then I took over the position as Regional Manager Retail CEE responsible for 11 locations in CZ, with €411M revenue, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ducati wholesale across seven countries.

What I took away: managing by numbers, navigating large complex organisations, customer success as the north star, and the power of growing with your existing customers. At some point I wanted more skin in the game. And I saw mobility and energy converging. So I made the jump.

3. The CleanTech Scale-Up

The jump into renewable energies.
I joined neoom, one of Europe's fastest-growing CleanTech companies. First as Director Corporate Development: growth strategy, market entry Germany and Switzerland, M&A, fundraising for €40M equity. Then sales needed a turnaround. I stepped in as CRO.  The most intense and rewarding three years of my career. 30-person team, partner network doubled to 450, two SaaS products launched with over 50,000 users, neoom established as market leader for commercial storage in Austria. During my turnure we scaled the revenues from €10M to over €72M. In a market where prices dropped 50% in three years.

That confirmed what I always knew: renewable energy is the biggest economic opportunity of our generation. Every company in this space is sitting on enormous potential. Most just don't have the commercial engine to capture it. That's where I come in.

Some Personal Words

It´s all about culture. Know the people you spend your time in your personal and business life with.
I grew up near Vienna. Lived in Germany and Australia for a while. Now back in Vienna with a wonderful family and a little daughter I love spending every free minute with. I've been training since I was 15. Strength, endurance, whatever keeps me balanced. I love working, I think a lot, I'm direct, and I want to get things done.
